How does a Pet Wellness Plan Work?
Your pet deserves the best in preventive care and you always want to put their pets' health above financial concerns. But as important as regular healthcare can be for your pet's health, it may still sometimes be challenging to manage these recurring expenses.
Our Wellness Plans 'bundle' all the preventive services you need to keep your pet healthy throughout the year into one easy monthly payment plan, helping you save money and manage your budget.
What is included in a Pet Wellness Plan?
Our Pet Wellness Plans for dogs and cats in New Iberia include the essentials for your pet to thrive.
Annual and 6-month routine exams, core vaccinations, bloodwork and heartworm testing are all included in our Plans.
Your pet will also get a fecal exam and a 12-month supply of tick, flea and heartworm prevention medications.
The Importance of Preventive Care
Think of routine exams as a complete health check for your pet. By assessing your pet on a regular basis, we can find and treat any developing health issues and check on your pet's diet to make sure they're getting enough daily nutrients.
While pets may appear healthy, early signs of disease can lurk in their bodies — sometimes with no clear symptoms. That's why we run bloodwork to ensure they're in tip-top shape.
We also provide a 12-month supply of flea, tick and heartworm prevention medication with every Wellness Plan.
If your pet does become infected, our fecal exams and heartworm tests are designed to catch these life-threatening conditions, which often go undetected until your pet becomes seriously ill.

Yes, you can pay for the full year when you sign up for your Wellness Plan.

Do Wellness Plans renew automatically after a year?
Yes, unless you request that we cancel your plan, it will renew automatically each year.

How do I make the monthly payments?
Your payment information (credit card) is entered into a secure portal when you sign up for your plan. You can choose the withdrawal date between the 1st and 15th of each month that's best for you.

When you sign up multiple pets at the same time, you will only pay one $50 enrolment fee.

Wellness Plans helps keep senior pets feeling well as they age. Your Wellness Plan can be customized based on your pet's unique recurring needs, and that includes aging-related requirements! Wellness Plans for older pets include the standard core services, in addition to screening for various age-related diseases and disorders.

My pet is young and healthy. Does it make sense to buy a Wellness Plan?
Regular preventive veterinary care for young animals can help build a foundation for good life-long health. When you sign your pet up for a Wellness Plan as a puppy or kitten, puppy/kitten vaccinations are included in the monthly fee.

What happens if my pet passes during the 12-month commitment?
If your pet passes away during your 12-month commitment, we will cancel the plan immediately.

What is the difference between a Pet Wellness Plan and pet insurance?
Both Wellness Plans and pet insurance help you manage the cost of veterinary care for your pet, but the types of veterinary services they cover are different.
Wellness Plans cover preventive care costs (things like vaccinations and routine exams), while Pet Insurance is designed to cover emergency services, accidents, or specific illnesses.

We offer Pet Wellness Plans for small dogs, medium dogs, large dogs, extra-large dogs, giant dogs and cats.

Will the Wellness Plan cover all of my pet's healthcare needs?
Wellness plans cover the routine care that all cats and dogs need (core vaccines, heartworm prevention, flea prevention, and more). You will also receive a 10% discount on any other service your pet needs, excluding food and grooming (e.g. dental procedures, spaying & neutering, etc.).
